Consultation
The first step towards the space of your dreams
This two-hour in-home or virtual consultation is an opportunity for us to meet and discuss what you’re hoping to achieve. We will review the scope of your project, and talk through options, timing and any questions you may have.

Phase 1: Design Development
Translating your wish list into plans and renderings
Using the information gathered at your consultation, we begin the exciting process of designing your dream space. Through sketches and AutoCAD drawings, we will explore various concepts that illustrate your options and the full potential of your space. Through careful analysis of each concept and based on your feedback, we will narrow the choices until you feel we’ve landed on ‘the one’.
Once we arrive at your final concept, you will receive floorplans and elevations with enough detail to obtain quotes from various trades. We also provide stunning renderings of your final design so you can get a full sense of what your beautiful space will look like once complete.

Site measurements and verification
Photos and document gathering of existing space
AutoCad floor plans & elevations
Custom millwork drawings
Coloured elevations & mood boards
Sourcing of suggested materials and finishes
Electrical / Lighting plans
3D renderings
Fixed investment based on your project scope.
Phase 2: Product Specifying & Finish Schedules
Finalizing, quoting & trade drawings
Selecting products and finishes can be overwhelming due to the infinite choices available. Rest assured we’re here to help!
When your design is finalized, we will prepare your trade drawings and finishing schedule, and take care of communicating these details to the various trades and contractors.
Includes:
Qualifying and narrowing of choices for materials and finishes
Budgeting and quoting of final product
Workcopy drawing set (cabinetry / electrical / plumbing / lighting etc.)

Phase 3: Renovation Oversight
Construction, Site Review and Product Coordination
Once you move into construction mode, we will perform site visits, coordinate acceptance of deliveries and manage installation of products and finishes as required.
Includes:
Product Ordering & Coordination
Millwork and Shop Drawing Review
Coordination with contractor, cabinetry provider and countertop fabricator
Site visits and installation reviews
Styling of finished space (if required) and final reveal

**In-Home Consultation
Price apply to projects within Toronto, For projects outside of Toronto, travel fees will apply.
**Hourly Fees based on services provided. Designstrom will provide
detailed bill rate sheet per project basis

Q: At what point in the process should I reach out to you?
A: As early as possible. Partly because we are usually booking out several months, but mostly because the plans we create together will be critical for obtaining accurate quotes from contractors/trades.
Q: Can you recommend a contractor?
A: Absolutely. We work regularly with a carefully curated selection of excellent contractors and can recommend the right one for your project once we know the scope and full details.
